Would it be possible to add functionality to perform a wild card search when running a detail report. Currently, I typically type "Sta" or "Raq" then click on the filter icon, and choose "contains." It'd be swell if we could simply type, "%stair%" or "*raq*" and then hit [enter] to view the results.

I believe what you are describing is exactly how the 'contains' filter works. Since these filters are built into the grid control I'm using, it would be quite a task to modify them just to save a few keystrokes (if any). Hopefully, it's not too inconvenient to keep using the current method. Please let me know if I'm misunderstanding or if there is functionality that is not performing appropriately.
