If the exercise is "easy" it will not work...exercise is challenging in varying degrees
my suggestion is to "hate" your current "state" more than you hate exercise. I don't know if you will ever love exercise but maybe it will become tolerable. It may also be worth really examining why you hate exercise and when you know the reason maybe that's what you can change.

| Do you like playing sports? Jumping rope, skateboarding dancing? Anything that breaks a sweat?

| Try playing games that support Kinect on the XBox 360. Ride a bike in the park at a comfortable pace. Walk around the park with a friend while holding a continuous conversation. Housework, rearranging rooms, cleaning the inside of the fridge, gardening, etc are simple ways to exercise without the 'formality' of exercise. Just make sure your doing something continuous for more than 20 minutes that makes you sweat. Eventually, you will learn to enjoy several of these activities and will do them for longer periods of time and more frequently.

Exercise isn't my favorite either! You've got to find something to motivate you everyday.
I agree with finding something you like to do, also distracting yourself from your workout is effective as well. I love to dance, so I try to participate in Zumba class regularly (Latin dance with a relatively high calorie burn). When I can't, I take my ipod and a good, suspenseful book with me on the stairmaster. My workout playlist is mostly fast songs, so that helps me keep my pace quick, and the suspenseful book keeps my brain distracted from the fact that I'm climbing endless stairs and going nowhere. I'll even stay on the machine longer than intended because I'm in the middle of an intense chapter and want to finish it!
I've heard that reading while on the elliptical/stairmaster/treadmill is not recommended because you tend to go slower. My response to that is: Yes, it can be slower, but it is better than not working out at all. Also, I wear a heart rate monitor on my chest that sends a signal to the machine. I like to use the "constant heart rate" program on the machines because it automatically adjusts the intensity to maintain the heart rate I designate. This way I can read my book without it affecting my pace.
The heart rate monitor, combined with this website, is the best fitness tool I've found. The monitor gives me exact data and is much more accurate than the machines at the gym. I can put the data in here along with my food intake and see my calorie debt daily. (I'm trying to maintain a -750 kcal debt each day for a 1.5 lb. weight loss per week.) This kind of tracking is very motivational for me because I can see the progress in the data everyday. I KNOW that if I maintain the calorie debt, the weight will come off. And it has! 10 lbs. in 4 weeks so far!
Best of luck in finding what motivates you!

| Something like yoga or pilates would problably help you. The point of these workouts is to tone, not lose weight, which is perfect for what you want. You don;t need all that cardio that leaves you out of breath and dizzy, I think you should take up a yoga class or buy some videos on them.
