| Trevor, Good luck with this new site...I'm glad to see it on here. As an active amateur triathlete, I've just recently left beginnertriathlete.com. I left because a lot of the forums/public chat/blogging & trash-talking stuff gets out of hand on there and away from the core of the fitness/training/nutrition goals that drew me to the site to begin with; this doesn't appear to be the case with the way this site is set up. However, there are many (fitness only, as opposed to blogging) tools on the site that are very useful and I kept my account open to be able to use them. I'd love to see OFL adopt some of them if you'd care to check it out. Or, here's a couple that are favorites of mine: Instead of (or in addition to) max speed...perhaps a calculation tool for average speed on categories such as swimming, biking, running, etc. A route mapping feature for running/cycling/walking, etc. for which routes can be saved and made either public to the whole online community or private to an individual's account (for things like your home neighborhood routes). The mapping helps to provide both elevation and distance. The ability to save workout templates in weightlifting and simply select them from a pull down menu when entering exercise. Also a fan of the way their exercises are entered. I understand that categories for (since it's a triathlon site) the three disciplines (swim, bike, run) could just get moved into sports on OFL, but the site also has a very large list for strength - instead of just "weightlifting" and an extensive list for sports. An event search feature (race nexus) where you can find races and other formal fitness events in your area in which to participate. A reporting feature for those events where you can record your experience and results and some comments are public so that others on the forum can read them to determine if it's an event they'd be interested in as well. There are other features as well, but many of those that remain to be mentioned are also those that tie into some of the negative community potential. These are just a few features and I appreciate a lot of the unique ones on OFL, as well, and I look forward to familiarizing myself with them. But, as it's a new site, these are just a few things that come to mind that are keeping me from exiting that site in the meantime. It may be worth checking out. Congratulations on what you've created so far! Reji

| Thanks Reji! Great suggestions. In response to the avg. speed request, the exercise log entry page automatically calculates average speed and pace for you (any exercise) if you enter distance and elapsed time. The ability to save workout templates (along with food templates i.e. meals, and reports) and detailed strength training logging are both on the list of updates. I really like the idea of mapping routes and having an event database so I'm adding those to the (already long) list of enhancements to come. Thanks for the feedback and keep the good ideas coming!
