I've confirmed this to be a problem with Firefox 3 and the Custom -> Foods page. Not sure what the issue is, but after releasing some new functionality next week, I am going to spend a couple of weeks to upgrade to the latest version of the ajax controls throughout the site. I expect this will address all of these issues. In the meantime, I was able to successfully add a custom food via the nutrition log entry page by clicking on the icon next to the food combo. You might try using this feature for the time being. Thanks for the report!

| Thanks Trevor. It DOES work from the nutrition entry screen, but on my computer at least it is a little "off" (can't always see the first line to enter the food name).. so for now I am using IE just for OnlineFitnessLog.com.. I have both browsers loaded but IE is more prone to spam/malware/virus/trojans etc.. so I'd prefer it work with FireFox. Not a big problem for now. On more thing on topic about Custom Meals and Custom Foods.. it might be nice to post some links on the home page to online food references.. I found a good (free) one: http://caloriecount.about.com/ ..and there are others that have nutrition info as well.. and they sure beat having to go dig a package out of the trash for the nutrition label when you realize what you ate today isn't in the onlinefitness log database yet! McDonalds has online data, so does Wendy's and a lot of the restaurant chains.. even the cafeteria at the Hospital I work in has some rudimentary nutrition data. Might be nice to have a repository of all these websites here on your site. Maybe start a forum topic just for people to post what they have found? I'd love it.. and if so.. feel free to post the one I found above. .and advertise the forum topic on the home page. (or the nutrition entry page). Thanks Trevor.. absolutely LOVE this website! are you taking donations? If so post the details somewhere and I'll kick in some cash. --Rob H

| Hi Rob, thanks for the feedback. I'll add these sites to the nutrition log screen via a popup or something. Donations are a great idea, I hadn't really considered until now. Here's a donation link (below) and I will likely add a button or a new page with this to the site. Thanks! Donate to Online Fitness Log
