| Hi, I am new to the forum and wanted some advice on nutrition. I eat pretty healthy most of the time, and I am finding that my nutrition log has me getting about 50% of my calories from carbs, 30% from protein, and 10% from fat. I know that the carbs are a good number, but the percentage of protein and fat is almost reversed according to many recommendations. Is this bad? I try to eat a lot of protein since one of my goals is to build more lean muscle mass. Should I change my diet up a bit?

Hi! Well, your numbers only add up to 90%, so hopefully that isn't what the system is reporting However, here's the recommendations from the MayoClinic website:Carbs 45% - 65% Protein 10% - 35% Fat 20% - 35% http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/healthy-diet/NU00200

| Sorry, I am a math wizard! Yeah, my diet actually ends up being about 50% carbs, 40% protein, and 10% fat.
