Is there a way to remove duplicate food entries? I seemed to have hit the save button twice, again, so there are doubles.

It would also be nice to include a "verified" tag, and even a "report this" tag for removal of other people's duplicates or incorrect information. This would help keep the database pure. I agree, it's great that user's can add to it, it keeps it current and full, but it also makes me uneasy to be uncertain of the validity of some of the entries. Allowing user's to verify, perhaps even putting there name on it if it's been verified, would help ease that problem. Just some thoughts.

Yes, I'll add it to the updates list and see what we can come up with. I agree we need to clean up the food database, but still allow everyone to access all the custom foods to keep it up to date. Will probably need some volunteers to verify and correct submissions.

It would be awesome if the food entries you have used in the past would be filtered to the top of the list. That way if i go looking for "dannon light & fit" It would pop the ones that iv used in the past to the top.

Also to prevent you from having to sort though all the food entry's it may be helpful to put the most used food entries at the top. So iv i search say "popcorn orville redenbacher" the one that most people chose would be at the top. That way entries with erroneous data will sink to the bottom and stay out of peoples way.

That sounds like a pretty good idea - I'll see what we can do.
