Dear Trevor (or whomever else this may concern),

Firstly, thank you so very much for your hard work on this website. You've created a wonderful thing here. You are helping a remarkable number of people get fit and healthy, including myself. Even moreso, you've made its use freely available. Amazing! I love this site.

Now, I'm going to complain. Forgive me.

On the Daily Summary page, my notes are cut short. I took the time to count the number of characters with a word processor, and the magic number appears to be 500. After 500 characters, my notes are truncated.

Also, I would love to be able to type longer entries for my notes. At 1000 characters, I cannot type anymore when entering a new note on the Log Entry page. I know that might sound like a lot of space, but those spaces and carriage returns add up quickly! If you can spare the storage, I would be very grateful.

Additionally, it seems that once my notes are accessed by the Daily Summary concatenation functions, my notes are permanently shortened to 500 characters. This means that potentially half of my notes are being deleted.

Thank you so much,

Brad

Trevor,

Thank you for looking into things for me.

I wanted to add that I was apparently mistaken about that last part. The notes tab on the Log Entry page allows me to type 1000 characters, but it only saves the first 500. It probably has nothing to do with the Daily Summary page and whatever concatenation function stuff I made up. Also, if I type a long entry and click to save it, the text will remain in the text box, fooling me into thinking that all of my writing has been saved.

Thank you, again.

Brad

This should be working properly now - the notes field can hold up to 6000 chars.
