I assume you are going to try to stop smoking.  By stopping smoking you will have an amazing change in your endurance level.  Besides that and your running--I would suggest some sort of strength training program. I am 47 years old. I started smoking again 7 years ago. I am resuming exercise. I have the Garmin 305 and a blood pressure monitor. I am going to link to my page at barbreak.net&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am doing about two miles of walk and jog per day. with tuesdays and thursdays off.
